Australian breeders have grown the largest blueberries in history.
The new variety is called Eterna. The weight of the record-breaking berry was 20.4 g and its diameter was 39.31 mm. That is, it is almost the size of a ping-pong ball, but much heavier. It is also important that almost all the berries on the bush grow large, have a pleasant sweet taste and crispy texture.
The previous world record was also set in Australia in 2020. Then he managed to grow a berry weighing 16.2 grams.
