Easter is coming soon, and Easter cake and Easter eggs are essential attributes of this holiday. Many colours for eggs can be obtained simply from natural ingredients in the fridge, including blueberries. So if you’re in favour of an eco-friendly approach, the following method may be useful.
For a deep blue colour, take a handful of frozen blueberries and puree them in a blender. Then add a little water and soak the already cooked eggs in this mixture for three hours.
Another way is to boil the berries for about twenty minutes and then add the eggs and boil them.
Each method gives a different colour, and such Easter eggs will certainly decorate your Easter basket.
